PRIVACY POLICY
We collect personal information when you place an order on our website or over the phone. This information is used solely to process and deliver your order. By registering your details, you consent to your data being stored securely in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal information will never be passed to third parties without your consent.

OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time. If we are unable to accept or deliver your order, we will inform you promptly, and you will not be charged. Reasons may include:
- Product out of stock
- Errors in pricing or product description
- Inability to meet a specified delivery date
We also reserve the right to correct errors or update information on our website at any time, including after an order has been placed.
You are responsible for providing correct and complete delivery information. We cannot be held liable if you provide inaccurate details.
Payments are processed via Stripe/Paypal, whose terms and conditions form part of this agreement.
WEIGHTS, CUTTING AND PACKAGING
Cheeses are artisan, hand-cut products, and weights are approximate. Minor variations are normal and will not constitute grounds for a refund. If a product is cut slightly underweight, we will aim to make up the difference in your next order.
All cheeses are wrapped to maintain optimal humidity and quality. In warmer months, parcels include ice packs. Please refrigerate immediately upon delivery. Cut cheeses should be consumed within five days.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If a product is unavailable, we may substitute it with a comparable item of equal or greater value. If substitutions are not acceptable, you may cancel the affected item. Please notify us in advance if you do not wish to receive substitutions.
ORDERING, DELIVERY & RETURNS
Ordering & delivery
Please ensure delivery details are accurate. Changes may not be possible once an order has been prepared or dispatched.
Champagne+Fromage is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee next-day delivery, though we aim to deliver promptly within stock and courier limitations.
Delivery areas
- We deliver to mainland UK only (England, Wales, and Scotland). We do not deliver to:
- Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland
- Islands (except Isle of Wight)
Delivery days & times
- Deliveries: Wednesday–Saturday
- No deliveries: Sundays, Mondays, or Bank Holidays
- Cut-off for next-day delivery: Orders placed before 12pm Monday–Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
- Delivery times are indicative only, not guaranteed
Delivery fees
- Standard delivery: £8.50
- Free delivery on orders over £60
Returns & refunds
- Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. A 10% cancellation fee applies.
- Perishable goods cannot be returned once delivered, unless faulty at the time of delivery.
- Transit loss or damage must be reported within 7 days. Orders are insured up to 1 box of 6 bottles; additional consignments incur a small surcharge.
PRICING & PAYMENT
- Prices are in GBP, excluding delivery unless stated.
- We may adjust prices at any time; if an error affects your order, we will contact you.
- Payment methods: Major credit/debit cards via secure online checkout.
- Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days.
- We do not store credit card details, and customer details are never shared with third parties.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
- Customers must be 18 or over. By ordering, you confirm your age.
- Alcohol deliveries require “Challenge 25” proof of age (passport, photo driving licence, or accredited card).
- Deliveries must be signed for; if ID is not provided, the delivery cannot take place.

FOOD SAFETY & HYGIENE STANDARDS
Champagne+Fromage prioritises staff, supplier, and customer safety. We follow government and Public Health England guidance and maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards. Operational adjustments may occur in line with official advice.
