Champagne Michel Furdyna is a family concern founded in 1974 and run by Michel and his wife Marie-Noëlle Furdyna.
They manage 8 hectares of vines, situated across 6 villages of the Côte des Bar. The Pinot Noir grape variety dominates, covering 85% of Michel and Marie-Noëlle’s vineyards. It’s favoured by them for the rich red fruit aromas it gives rise to. The remainder of their land is planted with Chardonnay and the now rare Pinot Blanc. Historically, this variety was traditional in Champagne, but new plantings are no longer permitted (although nowadays it can be found in Alsace.)
The Furdyna family have practiced sustainable viticulture for several years now, born out of their big respect for nature and the environment, and are proud to have their wines certified by Terra Vitis.
The Terra Vitis Trademark certifies that the wine you are drinking comes from sustainable viticulture. Throughout the production process, winemakers commit themselves to a line of conduct respecting the rules set out in the Terra Vitis specifications.

A little bit about us…
The brainchild of entrepreneurial husband and wife team, Stefano Frigerio and Maud Fierobe (French Bubbles), and together with Leblais’s Brothers (Une Normande à Londres), Champagne + Fromage is an artisan bistro and deli specialised in cheese and Champagne tasting secreted away on Wellington Street and Gallic at its most gorgeous: displays of Champagne, cheeses and charcuterie make for quite the chic centerpiece, whilst mismatched furniture and reclaimed materials complete the picture.
Comptoir+Cuisine is their personnal take on a more French Tapas style of Bristro in the heart of Bath. Still offering their famous Grower Champagne and artisans’ cheeses but offering a proper and delicious cuisine with a vast selection of wines.
